Description:
When Sanitarium wanted to leverage their sponsorship of the Australian Cricket team they looked to implement the previous facial profiling campaign that Ogilvy had done for their New Zealand operation. The Face – 2- Face web and mobile application allowed users to upload their photo from a mobile phone or computer and facial scanning software matched their appearance to Australian Cricket Team members. Facial match results were communicated back to the user by SMS or on the website.
Role:
As the lead producer I was tasked with managing the project to completion. I liaised with the internal team, the Australian client and several suppliers.

Challenges:
After much deliberation we decided to rebuild our original system from scratch to ensure it would cope with the increased traffic demands of a larger population. With a compressed lead time that spanned the Christmas shut down period and fulltime staff on leave I had to source suppliers who were willing to work through the break.
