AMBIENT – MOBILE – ONLINE – PRINT – RADIO

Description:
Pocket 14 –  a hybrid mobile-web application built for the New Zealand Rugby Football Union that brings rugby fans in New Zealand together online and brings the Super 14 to the mobile phone. People can use Pocket 14 to test their rugby knowledge, share photographs and participate in the Rebel Sport Super 14 at the stadia and while watching SKY TV, as well as getting live scores and checking the standings. All of the above functionality is available on mobile handsets with the web providing a place to register and check in on your personal standings on the leaderboard.

Role:
As the lead producer I assisted in scoping the project out as well as delivering the web/wap site and accompanying promotional materials. I worked with the internal team as well as an external supplier.

Challenges:
This was the first wap site the agency had built and the timeframes were extremely short. There was no time for prototyping so we had to begin full development straight away.
